BDA Equipment Room
Before starting this project, one big concern was whether we could use the designated BDA equipment room — which was 1-hour rated instead of 2 — or if we’d have to swap our standard 1-hour cable for 2-hour rated.
Well turns out- Under the latest NFPA 1225, a fully sprinklered, non-high-rise building does not require a 2 hour rating. And a building’s cabling system never has to exceed the building’s own fire rating.
That being said- seamless from start to finish 👏
